Whether it’s the deep blue sea or enjoying water sports in the air, people have to go to places like Goa. Now your wish is about to come true in Uttarakhand. Yes, to promote water sports, the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board is introducing jet skis in Tehri Lake.
The process has been initiated. Initially, four jet skis will be introduced by the board. This will provide tourists with the pleasure of water sports in the lake, similar to Goa. The board will start operating them by the end of September. Trained youth will operate the jet skis. The ticket prices will be determined by the tourism department. This is the first time in the state that jet skis will be introduced, giving wings to tourism. Local people will also be able to enjoy it along with tourists coming from outside. A contract will be signed with a private company for the operation. The company will also provide training to five to ten young people for operating the jet skis.
Jet skis work like watercrafts
If you want to fly in the air, then hydro-powered jet skis are for you. It not only skims on water like skiing but also flies in the air like a jet. It works just like a watercraft, and with its help, you can fly up to a height of 7.6 meters. You can also go up to 10 feet underwater with it. The price of jet skis starts from six lakh rupees. Through the jet thrust adapter, it redirects water from the jet unit of the PWC (Personal Watercraft) and directs it onto the jet ski bike with a 66-foot hose. The pressure of this water is used to propel the jet ski into the air and lift it upwards. This allows the rider to ascend rapidly.
